I had the very nice opportunity to set up a couple Xserves at my university, and have an innate desire to learn and do more with these wonderful machines!
Human Genome, clustering, SANS, RAIDS, BLAST, render farms, you name it... I'm interested!
I'm a little lost on how to make myself known and marketable as a Mac OS X Sys Admin. In your experience, are there jobs that are looking specifically for Mac OS X Systems Administrators?
Also, I am looking into taking supplemental classes to bolster my credentials. Would you suggest Sun Administration? Oracle classes? Any combination of classes that would make a newbie wannabe *NIX administrator lucrative? Any help is appreciated :-)
